Picture Perfect

It is again that time of year were I have to drag everyone in for the group photo.  There is nothing worse then going to get pictures taken.  I first got everyone dressed, curl Mary's hair under she proceeds to through a fit because she likes it plastered to her head with absolutely no lift, then on to Liliann she wants one tiny braid in the front of her hair-exactly what every mom wants on there child's picture.  I fight argue and my final statement is when you are paying for pictures then you can wear your hair however you want.  We them compromised pulled back sides and then curled it she thought it looked great hair sprayed and a couple shakes and it was as flat as a pancake, exactly were we started.  Danny boy I went his hair down throw in a little gel and perfect.  Everyone is loaded in the car and I go to the computer to print my coupon only to find the Internet down, I try the next computer great get on the website and the printer is frozen, just before throwing the printer through the window back to the first computer Internet up and printer works great on my way.  

We get to our dreaded place the mall and there are no parking spots what is everyone doing at the mall on a Friday afternoon?  We get in there I try and straighten out every one's hair we get one..two..shots and that is about it for all the kids together Danny starts crying the girls are distracted by the toys, I am wrestling Danny to sit still while snapping fingers at the girls to sit still and smile.  The gal finally says with a little doubt in her voice I think we got a couple of him smiling.  Great I think we are done lets call it a day.  Next is my favorite part the picking and choosing and the hole in your pocket it leaves as you think did I order enough for everyone and what did I even order.  As I am picking pictures I pull out my coupons and Danny grabs it crumples it up and says garbage?  I find myself in a tug of war with Danny over my coupon that is going to save my $5 finally I got it, then pull out my other coupon set them all out pick out all the pictures between yelling at Danny to stop hitting the baby with legos and the girls to get the lego buckets off there heads and stop marching around acting like robots.  Finally check out and run as fast as we can to the car and hope next year everyone will for sure will sit still and smile perfectly.
